This means there is an issue with the distance between the index pulse and the home switch.

To solve this problem:
* [[Lock out power]] from the machine
* Disconnect the connection between the motor and the ball screw ([[Remove the belt]] or [[Disconnect the shaft coupling]].
* Spin the motor 1/2 turn and reconnect the motor to the ball screw ([[Remove the belt|Belt]] or [[Disconnect the shaft coupling|Coupling]].

This will increase the distance between the limit switch and the first found index pulse, eliminating the error.
