When the router jogs in the wrong direction, the cause is most often an incorrect sign in the Scale factors.
Scenario
When jogging, the machine moves in the wrong direction.
Problem
There is a setup issue. The scale factor settings in the Techno CNC Interface need to be adjusted.
Solution
- Click on Setup > System
- Find the "Mx Scale" section.
- Change the sign of the axis affected. If it has a 'minus' sign, remove it. If it has no sign, add a '-' before the number.
- Click "OK" to save change
In versions prior to 1.423.4, Soft limits could occasionally cause this behavior.
- If this problem happens only occasionally, changing the scale factors may not be the appropriate answer. If soft limits are in use, either discontinue their use or upgrade the software to the latest build, which has a fix for this soft limits bug.
