When the router jogs the wrong distance, the cause is most often an incorrect Scale factor(s).

Scenario

When jogging, the machine moves the wrong distance, i.e. the NC file calls for a 5" cut, but the machine cuts 7"

Problem

There is a setup issue. The scale factor settings in the Techno CNC Interface need to be adjusted.

Solution

  • Click on Setup > System
  • Find the "Mx Scale" section.
  • Change the Scale Factor(s) to the correct value(s) for the machine (see the Scale Factor label on the gantry or call Techno Technical Support).
  • Click "OK" to save change
