If the start stop box is not working properly, it helps to check diagnostics to see if the problem is software or hardware related.

  • Click Setup
  • Click Diagnostics

  • Repeatedly press the start and pause buttons and look for blinking inputs.
  • For most machines, the input will be red when the button is not pressed and gray when the button is pressed.
  • There are multiple places the switch could be hooked up to.

If there is no response from pressing the button whatsoever, there might be a break in a wire or the start stop box might not be connected.
